Central midfielder, Manuel Kambala, was in the Starting XI in Mozambique’s first match of the #AFCON2025 against title holders Ivory Coast on Christmas Eve.
Os Mambas lost by a narrow 1–0 to the defending champions with Kambala playing 67 minutes in the match before being replaced by the veteran midfielder and former PSL player, Elias Pelembe.
Kambala’s eyes will surely be on his nation’s next fixture in Group F, against Gabon on the 28th December, which will be his 42nd international cap if the midfielder gets the nod from the coach.
